We are known for our extensive network in the International Hockey Community with a broad experience
in organising hockey events. Therefore we have outstanding relationships with many Hockey Clubs in the world.

Ambassadors

  • Austin Smith - South Africa

    Within The Hockey Department Austin develops and promotes European and South African Field Hockey Tours.
    Austin got his first cap in 2004 in the South African National Team and has since then played at the Olympic Games of 2008 and 2012, the World Cups of 2010 and 2014 and many other hockey tournaments.
    Nowadays Austin competes for the Dutch Club HC Den Bosch as captain and drag flick specialist, in the highest hockey division in The Netherlands.

  • Gijs Hardeman - All African countries

    Gijs is our representative in Africa and together with The Hockey Department organises Field Hockey Trips from and to Africa.
    He drove in 2010 with the Orange Trophy to the World Cup Soccer in South Africa. This impressive journey of 22.000 kilometres was the start of a long term relationship with the continent.

    For the KNHB he spent six months in Zambia, from where he founded the Hockey Dreams Foundation. Nowadays they can be found in Zambia, Malawi, Uganda, Zimbabwe and South Africa.
