Field Hockey France
Antibes is a beautiful location at the Cote d’Azur in the South of France. From 2020 we add this new destination to our hockey pitches in Europe.
Field Hockey Antibes
The coastal town of Antibes is located in South East France between Cannes (11 km) and Nice (22 km). The city is surrounded by ramparts and has a lot of gems: the Grimaldi Castle, where the Picasso Museum is located. The small streets and squares, the Peynet Museum, the Provencal market, the cathedral with its baroque facade. But also the artisan boutiques, restaurants and cafes. Outside the old town you will find the Vauban harbour and the Fort Carré. In the surroundings there are plenty of opportunities for hiking or mountain biking.
The Club Antibes
The hockey club in Antibes is located just beside the beach and has a water based hockey field. During the training you can see the snow-covered Alpine peaks in the background.
The city has more than 300 days of sunshine per year and the temperature in the winter months averages 17 degrees which makes it a great destination for your training camp.
We offer options to stay in a hostal, apartments or in a hotel. Flying to Antibes is easy, with an international airport in Nice.

If you are interested in a similar destination, then take a look at Benalmadena. A beautiful typical Spanish village, where you while you are training, have spectacular views over the sea. There is a water based pitch here as well. Don’t wait too long to book your trip to these villages, because it is fully booked quickly, there is only one pitch.
